Title: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: Telstar on February 21, 2010, 09:29:37 pm FYI Peter, this glitch keeps happening to me. Hovering the mouse restores it.
PS: In y5-6 the volume "remote control error" crash still happens. Hi Telstar, This has always been the case in W7, didn't gave it much thought. Why do you think its a glitch, does it bother you in any way. Don't know if this still happens, but will keep an eye on this Is this only when xx plays....? I sure have the same in W7 and I don't know how to solve it. But apart from that it's not 100% right, I don't have a problem with it. Indeed, hover the mouse over it, and it's back. Quote PS: In y5-6 the volume "remote control error" crash still happens. Besides from what I "promised" in the release notes, what do you mean ? Thanks, Peter Title: Re: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: Telstar on February 22, 2010, 01:33:20 pm Quote PS: In y5-6 the volume "remote control error" crash still happens. Haven't used y-6 much yet to know if it still happens. Title: Re: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: PeterSt on February 22, 2010, 02:39:32 pm :swoon: ... *what* error ??

Hmm ... Indeed in 0.9y-6 this can be solved, BUT, do you recognize that you were at the maximum volume at an attempt to higher it ? Even if you say No, I still think it can be solved in 0.9y-6 because (and you may have seen this) there was also the situation that you couldn't notch up the volume (by means of clicking the small notch button for VolUp). Internally -for Unattended- this could bug you. Let's keep in touch about this, okay ? Title: Re: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: PeterSt on February 22, 2010, 06:35:46 pm Oh help ... now you added a post in the other topic that it still exists for 0.9y-6 ?
Now, what is that real status of this ? Now, what is that real status of this ? It happened with 09-y5-06. Not yet in y6, but it may as well still exist. Volume was -10,5 and changed to -13. Not to/from zero. Hope this helps. Title: Re: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: Telstar on February 23, 2010, 01:55:41 pm Update!
Just got it with y-6. What i exaclty did is: from -15 to -18 without releasing the mouse, then to -16,5 which was my intended target. The slider is so small that i almost never manage to reach the one step below or above without going farther and then back. But keep in mind, that i dont use the wheel nor i release the mouse button until i find the correct volume attenuation value. Title: Re: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: PeterSt on February 23, 2010, 02:04:02 pm Ok thank you !
Did the sound keep on playing normally ? or went it into krrrrrr ? Title: Re: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: Telstar on February 23, 2010, 02:43:18 pm Ok thank you ! Did the sound keep on playing normally ? or went it into krrrrrr ? No, it just stops. Then i close the program and start again (the new volume setting is kept) Title: Re: start menu windows symbol disappears Post by: PeterSt on February 25, 2010, 04:48:28 pm If this happened while changing the volume when you were towards the end of the track (say, within a minute from the end), chances are fair this is solved in the next version.
