Title: Will 9y-1 work for me. Post by: Chris V on January 13, 2010, 03:22:55 pm Hi Peter, long time no speak. Hope you're keeping well.
I have been playing the w version of XX for some time and been very happy, but I would like to upgrade now to 9y-4 if my gear will take it. One reason for not upgrading sooner is that I was getting a bit bemused by all the computing talk that accompanies the later changes. But, I have bitten the bullet and am ready for a new challenge. I have got Autokeys running fine but cant easily find a list of all the functional keys. Can you help? Most importantly I see you have various upsampling options and would like to try the well reviewed Quad if my system can take it. I am still using the Fireface 400 which you know well and the Tact DAC which claims to have input sample rates up to 192KHz/24bits. Is this good to go? Title: Re: Will 9y-1 work for me. It's possibly missing a couple of the very latest shortcuts. Will amend later today after I've woken. http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=939.msg7522#msg7522  Cheers, Russ Title: Re: Will 9y-1 work for me. Otherwise see "Edit this script" or open in text-compiler to see all buttons Hope this helps Roy Title: Re: Will 9y-1 work for me. Post by: Chris V on January 13, 2010, 05:53:21 pm Thanks guys. There's a massive amount of info on this site now and a bit difficult to search around.
I did find some by trial and error but having a list is good. :good: Title: Autohotkey shortcut listing Post by: Calibrator on January 13, 2010, 11:39:58 pm Chris and others,
I've updated the listing of autohotkey shortcuts to include the Alt-Z entry for copying tracks to the "Demo" area in the gallery. http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=939.msg7522#msg7522 If you are uncertain whether that list contains the most uptodate shortcuts, you can always open up the XX.ahk file ( found in your XXHE folder ) with notepad ( or wordpad or similar ), and look towards the bottom where new entries will likely appear. Note: for the Alt-Z to work, you will need to replace the XX.ahk file currently in your active AutoHotKey folder, with the one in the "install" of 0.9y-5-00 Cheers, Russ Title: Re: Will 9y-1 work for me. Post by: PeterSt on January 14, 2010, 12:00:43 am Hi Chris - Just go for it. Don't fall into the "trap" of this Kernel Streaming; it will only demotivate you. This is for early adopters I guess, and even then ...
So, try 0.9y-4. Your Fireface and the TacT will dig it. Your PC ? well, you know that better by now !! Best regards, Peter |
