Title: How do I upgrade to the new version? Post by: DannyD on January 12, 2010, 11:32:41 pm Sorry to be dense but I'm not sure how to upgrade to the new version. I read I should cut and paste new files from the zip file. Do I paste them into XXHighEnd-09-04. Is that all I have to do? Do I then change the name of the folder to reflect the new version? Will the XX file still know where to go?
Thanks for your help. Title: Re: How do I upgrade to the new version? Post by: PeterSt on January 12, 2010, 11:39:10 pm You can do that Dan, but be sure to overwrite all the files. But, your 0.9y-4 will be lost then (but you can "reinstall" that in the same way of course).
If you follow this one a bit : Installation guide for Dummies (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=833.0) (which is not explicitly about upgrading) you can see how things can be setup so that you can work with several versions next to eachother. 1. Start XXHighEnd 2. Start AudoHotkey (again). Then it points to the "current" XX version. Let me know if it works. Otherwise I must do some digging.
